Could I pull off a pixie cut?

Not sure... you should google what haircut flatters the shape of your face. Maybe you could ask your hairdresser what would be the best way to cut it when you want it to be that short :) And don't worry, usually it always looks good but you just have to get used to the picture ;) I think it'll look good
