Pixie cuts on people with clear skin?

I'm planning to have a pixie cut and have gone through several pictures and videos (YoutTube) of people who've had the courage to do so. I observed how most of them had really clear, beautiful skin. However, in my case, I've always been concerned with marks on my back which is the reason I never wear showy clothes. And the skin on my face is not perfect either, I've got oily skin and somewhat large pores. What do you guys think? Does it matter?
